The first week of the season has arrived and we want to thank all our participants for choosing our Harvest Share Food Boxes this season.

Message From Your Farmer:

Congratulations!  You have taken this opportunity and made a choice, a food choice that will support a positive direction for agriculture.  With all the distractions we have in our lives today, food should not be one of them.  Food should be savoured and celebrated.  We at Carron Farms and our farming partners take great passion and pride in what we grow and raise. We can not rush what we do in the fields, we have to let our food take its proper time to grow and mature.  Our hope is that when you prepare and eat this food a little extra time is taken and the experience is shared and savoured with your families and friends.  Food should not be treated as an inconvenience in our lives but as an essential part of who we are.  An essential part of the Harvest Share Food Box is also the relationship that will be built between the consumer and the farmer, which is something that I will be celebrating. As this new fresh food journey begins for all of us, may it be a quality one that leaves a lasting bold impression and taste on our palate and in our mind.

My family and I look forward to this journey; we are taking part in the program as well.  I would like to thank you for your participation in this season’s Harvest Share Food Box.  Enjoy! We have already received some customer reviews.  Please read below for their comments.

Kind Regards,

Jason Verkaik

Recent Customer Reviews

"OK, I LOVE the box of fruits and vegetables.  I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s amazing and the storage tips are even more so.  My 10 yr old son even asked for radishes in his lunch today!?  Anyway, just wanted to thank you for the great quality and let you know how happy I am that I signed up.  I have told several friends." - Heather, Aurora

"I just wanted to let you know how happy we were to pick up our food box today.  We made a salad with the spinich, strawberries, beets, beet greens and the apples and I made the dressing provided from your recipe.  It was amazing! Thanks so much for providing this great service."  Amy, Bradford

"We had the strawberry & spinich salad last night...it was great!  I shared the left overs with the neighbors and they loved it too.
Everything in the box is wonderful.  I'm stunned at how fresh it all is."

Stacey, Bolton
